Matrix Social Labs — Digital products with a heartbeat

Walk over. They already said yes.

We're a startup studio in Bengaluru building products that help people meet in the real world. Our first: Blend'n — a way to approach someone at an event without the risk of being turned down.

Built in India, for a world that still believes in meeting in person.

The Studio

A studio for products that move people.

Matrix Social Labs (legally Matryx Social Labs Private Limited) is a product studio obsessed with three things: human connection, social dynamics and emotional resonance. We don't ship apps for the sake of it; we build things that make it easier to feel seen, included and connected — offline. Right now that means one product, built end to end by a founding team of three.

01

Emotion-aware by design

We start from feelings, not features.

02

Digital × real-world

Every product must make offline life better.

03

Built to scale

Experiments that can grow into independent brands.

Flagship · Blend'n

Everyone at the event wants to meet someone. Almost nobody walks over.

You're at the meetup, the gig, the fest. There's someone you'd like to talk to. You don't, because you don't know if they want you to. Multiply that by every person in the room.

It isn't a skills problem. It's a permission problem.

33%

of professionals say fear of rejection stops them approaching someone when networking; 42% hold back because they feel they'd be imposing.

Networking-anxiety research, 2025

43%

of Indians report feeling lonely; 27% of 19–29-year-olds.

of dating-app users believe they've been catfished.

How Blend'n works

You can't catfish someone standing in the same room.

  1. 1

    01

    Check in at the door.

GPS, against the venue's geofence. Everyone in the room is really in the room.

  2. 2

    02

    Tonight you'd beCosmic Panda

Be somebody else for the night.

You're Cosmic Panda until you say otherwise. The room, the roster, the requests — all pseudonymous.

  3. 3

    03

See what you share, not who they are.

“You both picked Techno and Board games.” Never a face, never a percentage.

  4. 4

    04

    Both say yes, then talk.

A like returned, or a request accepted, is the only thing that opens a conversation.

The rules that don't bend

  • GPS check-in is what makes attendance real. No manual check-in, no override.
  • The room is pseudonymous by default.
  • Mutual consent opens a conversation. Nothing else.
  • Ratings you give about people go to moderation. The person rated never sees them.
  • Check-in never turns you away.

Coming

Groups

Check in with your friends. Two groups both opt in and the app tells you where the other one is. Nobody approaches alone.

Coming soon

Hotspots

Go Live at a venue for 20, 45 or 60 minutes and see who else has. Nobody is visible who hasn't chosen to be.

For organisers & venues

Free. Put a QR code on your screen.

Your attendees came to meet people. Blend'n is how they do it — and how you find out whether they did.

Connections made.

How many people actually met someone new at your event. Nobody else can measure it.

Everyone in the building.

Live occupancy against your licensed capacity, across every event running at once, from GPS check-ins rather than bookings.

  • GPS-verified attendance
  • Live crowd mood, read from the room's own chat
  • Alerts when the queue backs up, the mood slides or capacity nears
  • Announcements to the room
  • Post-event feedback, ratings and export

You never see who your attendees are in the room. That's why they'll trust the code.

Free while we're building. We'll tell you before that changes.

Own a venue? Claim it and see utilisation, ratings and returning organisers.

Where we are, honestly.

Blend'n is in closed testing on iPhone and Android, starting in Bengaluru. The check-in, the room, the roster and mutual matching are built and running on real devices; the organiser dashboard is live for the first hosts. There are no user numbers on this page because there aren't any worth showing yet — when there are, they'll be real.
